Warm up this winter with this fantastic hot chocolate race at the picturesque Derwent Country Park. Offering 10k, 5k and 4k Junior distances, take on a mixed terrain course suitable for a variety of abilities. All finishers will get a delicious cup of hot chocolate when they finish!
Event Details
The event will take place on Sunday, 15th December 2024. The 10k race starts at 10:00 am, followed by the 5k at 10:15 am and the Junior 4k at 11:15 am. Registration will be open from 08:30 to 09:45 at Swalwell Visitor Centre.
Course Information
This Hot Chocolate Run will take place at the picturesque Derwent Country Park in Gateshead. The 10k will consist of 2 loops of the park, while the 5k will be 1 loop and the Junior 4k will take a shorter loop. All runners will be rewarded with a delicious hot chocolate provided by Blaydon Rugby Club after they finish.
Prizes and Amenities
Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in each category. Participants can also enjoy amenities such as toilets, bag drop, water stations, and refreshments along the route.
