Run Gateshead Hot Chocolate 10K 2026
Run Nation is pleased to present our hot chocolate 10k race at Derwent Country Park in 2026.
This is a 10k trail race on a mix of surfaces, ideal for all abilities. Set in the picturesque Derwent Haugh Country Park, Gateshead, the 10k run is on paved footpaths and tracks within the park and is mostly flat, making it suitable for all abilities. The 10k takes in 2 loops of the park, starting and finishing near the Swalwell visitor centre with parking available.
Due to UKA Rules and insurance, we cannot permit runners to wear in ear headphones, run with prams or dogs. For further information, please see our FAQ section.
