Newnham 8 and 4 Mile trail race + canix
The event is a trail run set in the grounds of the Newnham estate on the outskirts of Plymouth. It takes place at Newnham Park in Plympton, Devon on Friday 28 August 2026. The course uses estate trails and is organised as laps around the private grounds.
Canicross runners are welcome. The event offers a longer two lap option and a shorter single lap option. Entry fees listed for the event are £18 for the 8 Miler and £16 for the 4 Miler, with the same fees applying to canicross entries. The minimum age to take part is 18 years.
All money raised will go to supporting the work of Bowel Cancer West. Entries open and close on published dates and the event includes standard terms and conditions and a cancellation and refund policy as provided by the organiser. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Race Details:
- 8 Miler (2 lap): Ideal for those who want to increase their distance beyond 10K or half marathon, great for training for an Autumn Half marathon or marathon.
- 4 Miler (1 lap): Suitable for those wanting a distance beyond 5K or 10K, perfect for a quick loop.
- Canicross: Runners with dogs are welcome for both distances.
