- 3k
The event is open to people aged 16 and over. Entry fees are £17.49 for adults and £11.00 for children. There is a minimum fundraising target of £50.00. The event is organised by Cancer Research UK.
The start and finish take place on grass within Hampton Pier Recreation Ground. The route is mainly on sea wall paths and roads and is mostly flat, but it includes some steep inclines and declines along the road and Tankerton slopes. Course maps are provided by the organiser and may change.
Access and local arrangements include general parking on surrounding roads rather than specific event parking, and road closures affecting Hampton Pier Avenue, Western Esplanade, Chamberlain Drive, West Cliff Drive and Swalecliffe Avenue. The nearest train station is Herne Bay, about one mile from the event site. There are no bike racks on site. Blue badge parking is available in Swalecliffe Avenue Car Park with steward guidance.
Facilities on site include refreshments and toilets. The event is described as wheelchair accessible with assistance; accessible signage provides a diversion that avoids two steep sections.
