Truman Days Race Series
The Truman Days Race Series offers two exciting events: the Truman Days 5K and the 1 Mile Trail Fun Run. These events are designed for participants of all ages and fitness levels.
Truman Days 5K
This 5K run/walk is open to participants of any age. Registered participants will receive post-race refreshments, a chance to win prizes in a drawing, and a t-shirt (supplies permitting). Pre-registered participants are guaranteed a t-shirt in their chosen size and a swag bag. Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers in each age group (under 10, 11-14, 15-19, and by decade thereafter). Pre-registration is highly encouraged to ensure your desired t-shirt size, with the deadline being end of day June 29. Online registration remains open through Friday, July 24, at 4:00 pm. Race day registration is also available in person.
Logistics: The race begins on the west side of Truman Bus Service (332 S. 4th Ave E). Parking and packet pickup/race day registration start at 7:00 am at the high school parking lot (401 E 1st St. S). Participants will be bussed to the start line between 7:30 and 7:45 am. The finish line is at the high school parking lot.

1 Mile Trail Fun Run
NEW EVENT! This 1-mile trail fun run is added to encourage new runners and cater to different interests. It will immediately follow the kids' triathlon on Friday, 7/24. Expect some uneven terrain as part of the course includes running on grass.
All registered participants will receive post-race refreshments and a t-shirt (supplies permitting). Pre-registered participants are guaranteed a t-shirt in their chosen size. Pre-registration deadline is end of day June 29. Online registration remains open through Friday, July 24, at 4:00 pm. Race day registration is also available in person.
Logistics: The race begins and ends at the high school parking lot. This cross country-style course will be marked and have a lead vehicle, circling the school/pool area.
Packet pickup/race day registration starts at 5:00 pm at the high school parking lot, and the race begins at 6:00 pm.

Bundle Discount
Register for both the 5K and the 1 Mi Trail Fun Run at a discount! Participants aged 10 and under can register for both races for free. Only one t-shirt will be provided per bundle registration.
Pricing
Participants ages 10 and under are free for both races. For others:
- 1 Mi & 5K Bundle: $25.00
- Truman Days 5K: $20.00
- Trail Fun Run - 1 mile: $15.00
