Participants of any age can take part in this 5K run/walk. All registered participants will receive post-race refreshments, an opportunity to win a prize in the post-race drawing, and a t-shirt if t-shirt supplies allow.
Pre-registered participants are guaranteed a t-shirt in their chosen size and a swag bag. Awards will be given for top male and female finishers in each age group (0-10, 11-14, 15-19, and by decade after that). Pre-registration is highly encouraged to secure your desired t-shirt size, closing on June 29.
Race day registration is available in person until July 24 at 4:00 PM. Participants ages 10 and under are free; registration is required via email to [email protected] with name, age, and t-shirt size.
The race starts on the west side of Truman Bus Service (332 S. 4th Ave E). Park in the high school parking lot at 401 E 1st St. S to pick up packets or register. Buses transport participants to the start line from 7:30 to 7:45 AM. The finish line is back at the high school parking lot. Packet pickup begins at 7:00 AM.
In case of inclement weather, we will attempt to postpone, but no refunds will be issued for cancellations due to incurred expenses.
