Slaley Hall & Forest Trail Runs 2026
The Slaley Hall Trail Runs are back for the 8th year! Whether it’s your first 10km or half marathon trail run, or part of training for a longer distance, this event is perfect for all abilities.
Event Location: Slaley Hall Hotel, Coal Road, Hexham, NE47 0BX
Distances
- Half Marathon – 13.1 miles (Includes 7 miles around the majestic and tranquil Slaley Forest)
- 10km – 6.2 miles (A single lap of the beautiful Slaley Hall grounds)
About Slaley Hall & Forest
- Located south of Hexham on the edge of the North Pennines AONB
- Nestled within 1,000 acres of stunning woodland and countryside
- Scenic routes combining peaceful forest trails and historic estate grounds
Canicross Friendly
- One well-controlled dog per runner is welcome
- Dogs must remain on a lead at all times

- Half Marathon – 9:45am
- 10km – 9.45am

Live chip-timing provided by Timing Up North. Instant and accurate race results.
The Finish Line
All finishers will receive:
- Event Medal
- Wild Deer merchandise
- Bacon sandwich (or alternative)
- Hot drink inside the hotel
The hotel bar will also be open for additional refreshments after the event.
