Run Northumberland Hexham 10k - 19 July 2026
The event is a road race of 10 km held in Hexham on Sunday 19 July 2026. The course starts on the outskirts of Hexham, follows closed roads towards Corbridge, and returns using the largely flat Corchester Lane. Registration and the finish area are located on Tyne Green, Hexham.
The route is on road surfaces with full road closures and is marked every kilometre. Chip timing is provided by Timing4Sport and a water station is placed at 5 km. Race headquarters are listed as Tyne Green with the finish at Tyne Mills Industrial Estate. Basic event facilities include bag drop and toilets at Race HQ and parking at Wentworth Car Park with disc parking.
Entry is limited to 500 runners. Minimum age is 15. Entries close on 15 July 2026; affiliated entry fee is £24 and unaffiliated entry fee is £26. The event provides a finisher medal and prizes for the top three men and top three women. Veteran category prizes are offered for first in each age group M40+ and L35+ subject to a minimum of five competitors in the age group. Team prizes are awarded to the first male and first female teams where club vests are worn and confirmed by the race referee.
