MTC Pendragon - 46 Miles Ultra Run
The MTC Pendragon is a challenging 46-mile ultra run that follows the scenic National Cycle Route 8, starting in Llanidloes and finishing in Glasbury. This event is part of the renowned Mount to Coast End to End Challenge Series and specifically serves as Day 4 of the six-day MTC CYMRUN, an end-to-end challenge of Wales.
Event Details:
- Distance: 46 miles
- Route: Follows National Cycle Route 8

- Entry Limit: 20 race competitors + 20 CYMRUN entrants (max 40 total)
- Cut-offs: Preset cut-off points based on a minimum average pace of 4 mph. Competitors falling below this pace may be withdrawn.
- Mandatory Kit: Backpack, head torch with spare batteries, provided route maps, compass or GPS device, whistle, mobile phone, basic first aid, emergency food, and a waterproof map case.
- Tracking: Organizers issue tracking devices with an SOS function.
- Cup Policy: Cup Free policy; competitors must bring a reusable cup.
Finisher Recognition:
All finishers receive a bespoke Pendragon medal. Male and female champions will be awarded trophies.

- Plus Race Package: £155.00 (includes embroidered race shirt and lightweight hi-viz jacket if purchased at least four weeks before the event).
