Duisburg Urban-Run: The City Race
The Urban-Run is coming to Duisburg for the first time, bringing a new urban running event to a city known for its impressive industrial backdrop and vast ports. Participants will have the opportunity to go behind the scenes of Duisburg on a 10-kilometer route and explore locations in a new way. The race starts in waves from 9:00 AM at the Run-Base at the Mercatorhalle Duisburg. The course leads through the city center and to various places usually hidden from everyday view. The Urban-Run is not about achieving the fastest time, but about the shared experience of the city with the Urban-Series community.
Along the route, special stations in Duisburg await, including the Duisburg Police Headquarters and the Central Library, offering participants a rare glimpse behind the scenes of the city. Other locations from culture, sports, and urban life provide diverse impressions and genuine Urban-Run atmosphere.

- Super Early Bird: €22.00 (until 30.04.2026*)
- Early Bird: €25.00 (until 31.05.2026*)
- Special: €29.00 (until 30.06.2026*)
- Normal Price: €34.00
*Price tiers are valid until the specified date or as long as the respective ticket contingent is available. As soon as 500 starting places in a price tier are allocated, the next price tier opens automatically, regardless of the period. Prices are for adults. Children under 6 participate for free. Further discounts for trainees, students, pupils, or children up to 12 years will be displayed during the registration process. Group registrations by invoice are possible for certain institutions from 10 participants.

Our highlights come from very different areas of the city. They tell a piece of city history and make the Duisburg Urban-Run varied and lively!
