Race Overview
The Backyard Ultra invites runners of all levels to experience a unique race format that emphasizes both endurance and fun. The race consists of a 4.167 mile loop that participants will complete every hour for a maximum of 12 or 24 hours.
Awards
- Finishers Medal for completing at least one loop.
- Custom leather patch beanie for completing 50 miles (12 loops).
- Custom leather patch beanie for completing 100 miles (24 loops).
Course Information
The course is 100% paved with a slight elevation gain of +45 ft. It features wonderful park amenities, including shaded areas and easy access to the Jordan River Trail.

- 24 Hour Backyard Starts at 8:00 AM
- 12 Hour Backyard Starts at 8:30 AM

Snacks and hydration will be available at the start/finish area. Friends and family are encouraged to join and support runners throughout the event!
