About the 2027 X Border 10k
Welcome to the X Border 10k website; the 2027 event will be our 16th year! Sunday, Jan 31, 2027 is the set date for the 2027 event and will be our fourth working alongside Caledonia Park at Gretna. The event will hold a UKA licence. There will be a free photography service courtesy of Carlos Reina Photography with all pictures posted on our social media pages after the event. The results will be posted on the timing up north website within hours of the event and links will be put on this site and on the Facebook page.
The X Border 10k is a 10 km road run that crosses the English-Scottish border. The 2027 edition will be the 16th year of the event. It starts at Kingmoor Park in Carlisle, England, and finishes at Caledonia Park, a designer outlet in Gretna, Scotland.
Event Features
- The event holds a UK Athletics (UKA) licence.
- A free photography service is provided, with pictures posted on the event's social media pages after the race.
- Official results are posted on the Timing Up North website within hours of the event.
- A free shuttle bus is offered to transport runners from the finish area to the start area before the event begins.
