You will step onto Scotland’s most storied battlefields, where warriors once fought for freedom, embarking on an epic journey through history, treading in the footsteps of legends. Are you ready to take the field?

William Wallace Ultra – 70km circular route- Mixed Terrain – Solos and Teams of 3 or 6

An awesome 70km loop of historic Stirling starting in view of Wallace Monument under the shadows of the Ochil Hills weaving your way past the Battle of Bannockburn, climb into the Campsie Fells and Lewis Hill high above North Third Reservoir, Kings Park once the hunting ground of royalty, Kings Knott ancient gardens, the imposing Stirling Castle over the River Forth, past Kier Estate where the SAS founder Sir David Stirling once lived, through the market village of Bridge of Allan rising to Cockburn Reservoir, into the Ochil Hills and Jerah Forrest returning via, the protected village of Blairlogie, Wallace Monument, Cambuskenneth Abbey and the riverside path, an unforgettable journey!
- There will be adequate cut-off times at key check points to keep the excitement high, adrenaline flowing and athletes moving, these will be finalised prior to the start once the great Scottish weather is confirmed. Overall cut-off is 14hrs.
- 3 or 6 Relay Stage changeover points and 5 Aid stations to keep you munching on your travels.
- Finishers Medal, Race t-shirt, GPS Live Tracking so everyone can follow your journey, finish line catering and festival vibes.
Entry Requirements
Runners must be 18 or over, in good health and agree they take part at their own risk. Mandatory kit will be required as Scotland in October can be warm and sunny or cold and wet probably both!! The athlete guide will detail kit list and more specific race detail.

Registration 1 – Friday 9th October 5.30 pm – 7.30 pm – Stirling Cricket Club, Stirling FK7 7WS
Registration 2 – Saturday 10th October 06.00 am – 06.45 am – Stirling Cricket Club, Stirling FK7 7WS
Saturday 10 October - Race Starts from 07.00 am.

Pregnancy policy: If a participant subsequently falls pregnant after entering and is no long able to take part they will be able to defer their entry up to 2 years or receive a full refund.
