West Rouge Sports & Recreation Association Fun Run - 2026
The event takes place at Port Union Waterfront Park in Chesterton Shores, Scarborough. The course uses the Waterfront Trail and the Highland Creek trail. Due to construction, the race will not run east toward Rouge Beach.
The route starts at Port Union Waterfront Park, heads west along the Waterfront Trail, crosses the Waterfront Trail Bridge, then turns north to follow the Highland Creek trail. At 2.5 km the course turns around and returns to the start. The 10 km run completes a second similar lap before returning to the start.

There are two water stations on course: one at the start/finish and one at the 2.5 km turnaround. 10 km runners pass both stations twice. Free parking is available at the Rouge Hill GO station west parking lot; it is a short walk to the start. Washrooms are available in Port Union Village Commons Park.
Prizes will be awarded to top male and female finishers in each age category for each event, with at least 18 prizes available. Additional prizes for special participants may be offered depending on participation. Participants who provide an email address will receive a personalized certificate showing their standing or participation by event, gender and age group.
The event is held rain or shine. If the event is cancelled, no refunds will be given. Registrations are non-transferable and non-deferrable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
