Run through one of Glasgow’s most iconic green spaces with our Pollok Park 5K & 10K. Expect woodland paths, sweeping parkland and plenty of scenic spots along the route. Enjoy friendly support all the way round and collect a bespoke Up and Running medal at the finish plus music, refreshments and good vibes to round off your Sunday morning!

Route information

Pollok Park plays host to this monthly running event, suitable for all levels of ability. Take on a 5k or 10k through the grounds and paths of the park. The course is a 5k loop around Pollok Park. Athletes are required to keep count of their laps completed. The course is fully marked with km markers, arrows and marshalls.

Event day logistics

10:00 10k Race Starts 10:00 5k Race Starts Bag Drop There will be a bag drop located in the event village. Please consider limiting the number of belongings you have with you on race day. The bag drop will open at 8:45. Toilets There will be portable toilets on the edge of the race village, very close to the start/finish area. Water Station There will be a water station at the halfway point of the loop, therefore runners participating in the 5k will pass this once and twice for those in the 10k. Finish Line Athletes are encouraged to keep moving through the finish area to make way for their fellow finishers and to collect their post-race goodies. Photos Up and Running Events are keen to photograph as many good memories as possible. Please check their Facebook page in the following days after the event. Also, tag them (@upandrunningevents) in your photos using the hashtag #upandrunningevents.
