Brian Goodwin 10k
Bellahouston Harriers’ flagship event, the Brian Goodwin Memorial 10k race, is scheduled for 2026. This event has become a highlight in the Scottish running calendar, known for combining fast racing with a summer evening atmosphere. The race starts and finishes at Cartha Queen's Park RFC (92 Dumbreck Road, Glasgow, G41 4SN). The course is a certified two-loop route, largely within the scenic grounds of Pollok Park, with traffic-free roads for sections outside the park.
The 2025 edition saw Olympian Callum Hawkins win with a time of 29:52 and Fionnuala Ross take the women's race in 34:37. The event promises a complimentary beer and burger at the finish line.

Entry Fee
The standard entry fee is £25 (£23 with a Scottish Athletics number). An early bird discount of £22 (£20 with a Scottish Athletics number) is available for the first 150 entries. Entries close on Monday 8th June 2026. The event has sold out annually since 2017.
Entries are non-transferable and non-refundable unless the organisers cancel the race. The event is held under UK Athletics rules and is Scottish Athletics licensed (No. ES014872).
