Salomon Skyline Scotland Returns!
Salomon Skyline Scotland®, established in 2015, is a world-class mountain and trail running event held annually near Fort William. After a break, it relaunched in 2025, bigger and better than before. The event features seven epic mountain and trail race routes, with distances ranging from 5km to 100 miles, including skyrunning, ultra, and trail races. It offers challenges for elite international athletes and those seeking a scenic trail race. The Ben Nevis Skyline was selected as a 2025 Golden Trail World Series qualifier race.
The event boasts a fantastic arena at Nevis Range, near Fort William, with an event village that never feels overrun, even with multiple races taking place simultaneously. Features include live commentary, big screens, live streaming and online tracking, local food and drink traders, a partner expo, a grand prize giving ceremony, and an evening party.
Salomon Skyline Scotland began in 2015 and has since attracted over 2,000 participants from up to 50 countries annually, generating significant economic impact for the Lochaber region.
