Race for Life Manchester at Heaton Park
Race for Life Manchester takes place on Sunday 5 July 2026 at Heaton Park, Sheepfoot Lane, Prestwich, Manchester. The event is organised by Cancer Research UK and is listed for participants aged 16 and over.

The start, finish and event site are on grass that is predominantly flat. The course combines grass, surfaced paths and woodland trails and includes various elevations. The meeting point and start line are in The Bowl area of the park, near Heaton Hall and the Boating Lake; the finish is in a similar vicinity.
Travel and parking information notes that event parking is available at the Lakeside Car Park on Sheepfoot Lane with Pay and Display charges, and there is a Metrolink tram stop adjacent to Heaton Park. Cycle racks are located at the visitor centre a 5 to 10 minute walk from the event site. Electric charging points are not available at this event.
Facilities listed include refreshments, toilets, bag drop, showers, seating for dogs, pushchair access and accessibility with assistance for wheelchair users. A minimum fundraising target of £50.00 is shown and events are chip timed. Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training support and a Race for Life medal.
