Race for Life Colchester 5k
Race for Life 5k is a 5 kilometre running event held on Sunday 19 July 2026 at Lower Castle Park, High Street, Colchester CO1 1XN. The event is for people aged 16 and over.
The start and finish are on a grass field within the main field next to the bowling green. The course is mainly on grass and paths with a few inclines. In wet weather the ground near the river can become soft and muddy so independent wheelchair use on the course may require assistance. Tarmac paths surround the start and finish area.
Travel and local arrangements: There is no parking at the venue. NCP Colchester High Street public car park is about a five minute walk away. Bus and train services are a short walk from the park. There are no electric charging points and no bike racks listed.
