20th Annual Our Hospital Walk/Run

Join your community on Sunday, September 27th as we raise funds to help North Bay Regional Health Centre provide the best possible care, close to home. Your hospital is ALWAYS here for you. This year’s Our Hospital Walk/Run is supporting our community’s highest medical equipment priorities!

How it Works:

• Register using our online registration site here.
• Select the distance you would like to accomplish: Family Mile, 5KM or 10KM.
• Help inspire others to Walk/Run and make a donation by sharing your participation on social media.
• Collect donations! Ask everyone – your friends, family and colleagues. There’s a great prize available too!
• September 27th, Walk/Run your race.
• Don’t forget to share your photos on social media.

PLEASE NOTE: While we love all our furry friends, no dogs may attend Our Hospital Walk/Run.

• 8:00AM: Registration Opens
• 9:00AM: Opening Ceremonies
• 9:15AM: Warm-up & 10K Walk Start
• 9:25AM: Family Mile Start
• 9:50AM: 10K Run Start
• 9:55AM: 5K Walk/Run Start
• 10:00:AM: Chili Lunch is served
• Award ceremonies upon completion of all races.

Awards & Prizes:

• Early Bird Prize Pack – One Early Bird registered team will receive a Twiggs coffee party!
• Hospital Team Challenge – The hospital team that raises the most money will win a pizza party courtesy of Boston Pizza!
• Community Team Challenge – The community team that raises the most money will win a pizza party courtesy of Boston Pizza!
• Spirit Award – The team that shows the most spirit will win a coffee party from Twiggs for your team or office!
• Finishing Medals – For participating in Our Hospital Walk/Run, you’ll receive a finishing medal!
• Placement Medals – 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers (men, women and non-binary) for each race will receive placement medals!

Fundraising Incentives:

• Air Canada Draw- Earn a chance to win return airfare for 2 for every $25 in donations collected, courtesy of the Air Canada Foundation!
• Gift Card Incentive- For every $150 raised, you will receive a $25 gift card.* Start your fundraising journey to take advantage of this amazing incentive.

*Gift card(s) will be distributed after the fundraising period ends on Sunday, September 28th. Each eligible participant will receive one gift card reflecting the total amount raised in $150 increments (e.g. $300 – $349 raised = 2x $25 gift card). Cards will be for a local business generously supporting our Walk/Run and selected by the Foundation at the appropriate time.
