North Bay Road Race 2026
The North Bay Road Race offers road and trail events in Northern Ontario with multiple distances available.
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 21.1 km (Half Marathon)
- 1 Mile Kids Race (free for kids of all ages)
All races are out-and-back. The 5 km course starts on Memorial Drive, closed to traffic, and continues along the Lake Nipissing waterfront. After a water and electrolyte aid station, the course connects to the Kate Pace Way multi-use pathway for about 0.5 km before the turnaround. The 10 km follows the same route and continues along the flat, paved Kate Pace Way until its turnaround. The half marathon extends along the Kate Pace Way onto Booth Road and Birchs Road, with the final section following the Kate Pace Way connection toward Callander.
The 2026 charity partner is YMCA North Bay for the Fill The Bus campaign. A portion of each registration helps send local kids to camp, and every registration includes an automatic donation to the campaign. Organizers also note options for adding a donation during registration or sharing a personalized fundraising page.
Parking is mapped along the waterfront with Memorial zones 1 to 3 listed as open and Oak Street used for overflow. Local businesses and organizations are named among the event sponsors. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
