Live Like Laken 5K
Cherokee Recreation and Parks will host the 2nd Annual Live Like Laken 5K Run/Walk on October 25, 2025 at Hobgood Park in Woodstock, GA. The purpose of this 5K is to raise money for The Laken Hope Foundation, Inc. which supports existing organizations that promote safety awareness for women, aid, and tuition assistance for nursing students and children’s healthcare. These were all causes that Laken felt strongly about, and she held near and dear to her heart. PACKET PICK-UP: Packets will include bib, t-shirt (while supplies last), Laken Hope Foundation merchandise, CRPA swag, and more from sponsors and vendors. More information coming soon... We will not be mailing shirts.
RACE DAY REGISTRATION: We will be offering Day of Registration at the event. Please arrive at Hobgood Park with enough time to register and warm up before the race start time at 8:00 am. Registration will start at 7:00 am.
AWARDS: Overall Male and Female Winner
WEATHER: This race will be rain or shine, unless our elected officials think conditions are unsafe for patrons.
VOLUNTEER: Sign up to Volunteer by pressing the "Volunteer" button on this main page. Volunteers should arrive at 6:45 am on race day for assignments.
