Lake District Running Festival 2027
Join us for the RunThrough Lake District Trail Running Festival 53k & 23K on Saturday 10th April 2027!
Take on an unforgettable trail running challenge in the stunning Lake District with a choice of 53k or 23K routes. With dramatic climbs, sweeping views, and iconic fells all around, this festival promises a brilliant day out for trail runners ready to test themselves in one of the UK’s most spectacular landscapes.
53k Route
The 53k route delivers a true ultra experience in the heart of the Lakes. You will pass Derwent Water and through Seathwaite, before ascending Scafell Pike and dropping into Wasdale. From here the route skirts around Kirk Fell to Honister Pass before summiting High Spy and descending Catbells back to Keswick to finish.
23k Route
The 23K route offers a challenging and scenic adventure from Keswick, passing Derwent Water and through Manesty, before climbing High Spy and descending via Catbells back to the finish. It is a superb route for runners looking to take on a rewarding trail race with incredible Lake District scenery throughout.
