Why 6k? The 6K distance symbolizes the 1 in 6 Canadians who struggle to build their families. Every step, every stretch, every stride helps raise awareness and funds to support those on their path to parenthood.

How Your Support Makes a Difference
- Influence National Policy: We led the advocacy that secured Canada’s first federal commitment to fund up to $20,000 for IVF, making treatment more accessible for families across the country.
- Deliver Provincial Wins: We fight for equitable access in every province and territory. Our work has helped launch new funding programs and tax credits in Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, Yukon, and supported British Columbia’s first publicly funded fertility program.
- Champion Equitable Care: We meet with policymakers, prepare formal government submissions, and are recognized as a trusted stakeholder by Health Canada—ensuring fertility care remains a national health priority.
