DH River Run, Carlisle, 25 October 2026
The DH River Run is a 10k out and back run along the river path from Denton Holme towards Dalston. The start and finish are on Denton Street between Holme Head House and the junction with North Street. The course includes one water station.
Parking is at Rome Street Car Park CA2 5LE. Registration, toilets, prize presentation and post-race refreshments are based at Denton Holme WMCC, 1 Morley Street CA2 5HQ. Registration will open at 8.30am and close at 9.30am. Race briefing will be 9.50am in the start area.
Entry is open to anyone aged 16 and over. The event has a maximum of 230 places. Entry fees are listed as £21 unaffiliated and £19 affiliated; a booking fee applies. One pound from each entry will be donated to the Well Communities Charity.
The event awards prizes for first, second and third places for male and female runners, and for first male and female in the under 18, V40, V50, V60 and V70 categories. Refunds of 50 percent plus an administration fee are available until 11 October; there are no refunds after that date. Entries are non-transferrable and running under another person’s name may lead to disqualification.
There will be a post race buffet. Event photos will be taken by Fellside Photography and will be available free after the event. Live results will be posted on Timing Up North Results.
