AM Caravans Castle 5K Race 2

The event takes place on Wednesday 17 June 2026 at The Sheepmount, Carlisle, Great Britain. It is part of the AM Caravans Castle 5K series and is listed as sold out.
Course Information
The measured 5 km route uses a mixture of park paths, pavements and quiet roads and is described as mainly flat with generally good road surfaces. The course begins with a loop of Bitts Park, passes Carlisle Castle where runners complete two laps, and returns to Sheepmount Stadium with the finish close to the small grandstand. Caution is advised at turns and participants are asked to follow instructions from marshals.
A full course risk assessment, route maps, the race permit and the measurement certificate will be on display at event headquarters in line with UKA rules.
Race Day Information
Registration opens at 17:30. Race numbers and other materials will be issued at registration. Please check the race day information again in race week for any changes.
Race Safety Briefing: The race briefing will take place at 18:45.
Prize Presentation: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Male & Female prizes will be awarded straight after the 3rd finisher. Age group prizes will be awarded based on the number of competitors and will be paid via BACS within 7 days. Any age grouper who finishes in an overall prize position will receive the overall prize, and that age group prize will then roll down.
Withdrawals Policy: 1 month prior to race day, all withdrawals will be subject to a 50% charge. After this date, no refunds will be given.
Race Results: Results will be available at www.timingupnorthresults.co.uk approximately 10 minutes after the race start.
