22ND JUNGLE JIM'S 5K SPLASH (SS Summer Series #5)
Join the Seashore Striders for one of the most popular races at the beach - The Jungle Jim's 5k Splash. This event is the 5th in the popular Seashore Strider Championship Series and will be held live on June 27th.
The Jungle Jim's 5k Splash features a flat & fast course through the Country Club of Rehoboth Beach on an out-and-back route. Proceeds from the race will benefit the Children's Beach House of Lewes in honor of the late Derrick Lingo.

Registration:
Registration is available online through runsignup. Participants registered by Monday, June 22nd are guaranteed a t-shirt.
- "Early Bird" Registration: $30.00 (through June 14th at midnight)
- "Pre" Registration: $35.00 (June 15th through June 26th at midnight)
- "Last Chance" Race-Day Registration: $40.00 (Registration opens at 6:00 am and closes at 7:15 am)

Race Course:
The 22nd Jungle Jim's 5k Splash begins inside the waterpark and proceeds to the Country Club Development of Rehoboth Beach for the out & back course. The race finishes just inside the water park, with the award ceremony at the start area. Participants may enjoy the lazy river and one ride until 9:30 am.
Race Timing:
Timing will be done by the Seashore Strider Event Production team using the Chronotrack B Chip system.
Race Amenities:
- Finish line produced by “Seashore Strider Event Production, Inc.”
- Post-Race awards ceremony at 9:30 am outside the park at the start area.
- Custom printed t-shirts.
- Custom awards.
- Great post-race celebration at Jungle Jim's.
Awards:
Awards will be presented to Overall Male & Female Champions, Overall Male & Female Masters (40+ yrs.), and the top three (3) Male & Female finishers in 16 age categories. Awards can be picked up locally or shipped for a fee.
36th Championship Series Info:
Runners can qualify for the Championship Series by completing specific race requirements. Details on qualification criteria and series standings are available on www.seashorestriders.com.
Walker Note:
A separate 5K WALK DIVISION will be available. To qualify for the Walk Series Division, participants must complete five of the 8 5k Events and one of the two 5-mile runs. Specific qualifying races are listed. Awards for the WALK will be for the top 5 male & top 5 female finishers in the qualifying walk events.
Refunds/Deferral:
The Seashore Striders have a "No Refund" policy, but offer options such as transferring to a future event, donating to charity, or deferring to the following year.
