Zweigkanal-Brücken-Marathon
The Zweigkanal-Brücken-Marathon will take place in Wallenhorst on Saturday, June 20, 2026. The race is conducted according to the rules of the 100 Marathon Club Germany and requires a minimum of 5 participants.
Details:
- Start Time: Flexible start between 5:00 AM and 10:00 AM (frame start), subject to change.
- Time Limit: 8 hours plus organizer's tolerance.
- Location: Am Mühlenbach, 49134 Wallenhorst. Parking available directly at the Zweigkanal.
- Route: Circular course with three different route options (Strecke1, Strecke2, Strecke3), each approximately 42.70km to 42.90km. Minimal elevation gain. Participants must be mindful of pedestrians and cyclists.
- Aid Stations: Self-catering; you will pass your car after each lap.
- Timing: Self-timed by hand. Results to be emailed to the organizer.
- Entry Fee: No fee - voluntary donation. PayPal also accepted at [email protected]
- Award: Certificate via email.
- Participant Limit: 15. Minimum age 18 years.
- Registration: Via email to [email protected] by June 16, 2025, 6 PM, providing first name, last name, and club.
Important Notes:
- Littering outside designated bins is prohibited.
- The organizer is not liable for accidents, injuries, theft, or other damages. Road traffic regulations apply. Participation is at your own risk.
- By registering, participants consent to the use of photos, results lists, and videos for private purposes by the organizer.
- Showers, toilets, and changing facilities are not available on-site.
- This is a private running event. The organizer reserves the right to reject registrations without providing a reason.
