About the race
The Zátopkův Zlatý Týden (Zátopek's Golden Week) is a series of running races that celebrate the three gold medals Emil Zátopek won at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki. These runs take place annually on the dates commemorating Emil Zátopek's Olympic triumphs: July 20th (10,000 m), July 24th (5,000 m), and July 27th (marathon).
You have the opportunity to participate in one of the three races, OR THE ENTIRE SERIES, in the case of the marathon as an individual runner or as part of a four-person relay team. You can also participate in this extraordinary event and become part of a historic week of running events. Races for younger age groups (school children and adolescents) are also prepared.
