York MoRun - York Racecourse, 22 November 2026
The York MoRun is a chip timed running event supporting Movember. Distances on offer include a 1.5 km Mini MoRun, a 5 km, a 10 km and a Half Marathon. Earlybird entries open summer 2026 and entries close on 14 November 2026.
Runners receive a finisher medal and a MoRunning headband. The event uses chip on bib timing and provides instant results and both gun time and net time. There are additional awards such as bonus medals for fastest Mo, best dressed and other spot prizes. Drinks and sweets are available at the finish line.
Site facilities include park toilets next to the event hub and manned bag storage under gazebos with limited space. Parking is available around the racecourse but space is limited so participants should plan their journey. Registration is required to collect race packs, race numbers and timing chips.
Course details note a mix of surfaces and features. The route starts with pathway then moves to grass with one incline and some uneven sections which may become muddy after rain. The 5 km is one lap, the 10 km is two laps and the Half Marathon is four laps plus a 1.1 km section. The course has two road crossings and is not suitable for wheelchair users. Off road running buggies are permitted when conditions allow. Marshals are positioned along the course and runners should stay on the left unless directed otherwise.
