The TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon Women's Training Program is a comprehensive 16-week plan, designed to prepare women for both full and half marathon distances. Starting on July 1st, this women-led/women-curated program offers a structured training schedule created by Lauren Roberts of The Running Physio. Each week will also feature a guest speaker who will provide insights and tips on topics specifically relevant to women training for a marathon. From nutrition and injury prevention to mental resilience and race day strategies, these sessions are designed to support and empower female runners. The program culminates in the TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon on October 20th, guiding participants every step of the way towards achieving their running goals.
