Windmühlenberglauf
Since 2002, our Windmühlenberglauf has been taking place. Initially, it was a 10km circular route through the fields behind the stadium. Due to construction in Kerksiek, the route had to be changed and has since led to Sülfeld, to the canal, and back. This run counts towards the Laufcup Gifhorn-Wolfsburg. New since 2023 is the 6.5km route. It follows the 10km route but turns around at the Sülfeld playground. Everyone aged 14 and older (AK U16) can start on both routes. The shorter route can also be walked (without poles) if completed within 1.5 hours. Over the years, a run for children and youth over 2.5km was added. Children and youth aged 8 to 19 (AK U20) are eligible to start. All routes start in the stadium and lead on paved paths around Fallersleben back to the finish in the stadium.
