Wimbleball Lake Trail Races

Wimbleball Lake Trail Races offer trail running and canicross around Wimbleball Lake in Somerset, located at Brompton Regis near Dulverton. The event features off road terrain and routes that run beside the lake. The 10K course follows almost the same route used for nearby triathlons. The 5K follows the same start and finish corridor but turns back earlier.

The races are part of a wider Wimbleball Sports Festival that includes triathlons, open water swims and cycle sportives over the bank holiday weekend. There is camping available at Wimbleball Lake for an additional charge and the venue has plentiful parking. Facilities for competitors include showers and toilets. Organiser services include public liability insurance and professional RFID chip timing. All finishers receive a custom medal and podium medals are awarded in several categories, with a one prize per person policy. Event photography is provided with free social resolution images bearing the organiser logo; high resolution downloads and prints are available for an additional charge. Awards & Medals

There is a custom medal for all finishers. In addition, there are podium medals for the Top 3 overall in a number of categories. These will vary depending on entry numbers. Please note we operate a one prize per person policy. So if a vet is the overall winner they will get that medal & prize & the other Vet 40s will move up one place.
