Event Overview
The Wildwood Trail Marathon takes place on December 6, 2025. This event includes both a full marathon (26.2 miles) and a half marathon (13.1 miles), designed for runners of all levels. The race promises stunning scenic views along the trails of West County, St. Louis.
Registration Details
Register by November 30, 2025, for the race day. Registration fees are as follows:
- Marathon: $180.00
- 1/2 Marathon: $160.00
Race day registrations will be accepted starting at 6 AM on race day. Please note that swag items cannot be guaranteed for race day registrations and transactions must be cash only.
Course Description
The marathon starts on the asphalt Hamilton-Carr Trail and transitions to the Al Foster Memorial Trail, featuring varied terrain, including gravel and dirt paths. With significant elevation gain, runners should be prepared for a challenging but rewarding experience.
The half marathon has a similar scenic route but is shorter, catering to those seeking a less intimidating distance.

All runners must complete their courses within designated time limits, including a strict cut-off time for aid station checkpoints.
Aid Stations
Both marathon and half marathon courses feature manned aid stations, stocked with fluids and nutrition, maintaining a cup-free policy to promote sustainability.
