We Got Your 6-KM Run • Walk • Ruck
We Got Your 6-KM is a community run, walk and ruck event taking place on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Central Park in Spruce Grove, Alberta. The event raises awareness and funds for first responder mental health and operational stress injuries, including OSI and PTSD. Proceeds support the Alberta First Responders Association's work toward the 1st Health Mobile Support Unit, a mobile psychological crisis triage space for rural frontline members, and help provide free training to first responders across the province.
The main course is a scenic 6 KM route through Spruce Grove's trail network. Participants may run, walk or ruck. The ruck option asks participants to carry a weighted backpack, tactical rucksack or turnout gear to symbolize the invisible burdens carried by frontline personnel. Central Park will host a Wellness Village offering frontline support resources, peer support connections, recovery stations, interactive sponsor activations and local food and entertainment. The day includes opening and closing ceremonies and announcements of top finishers. The event also features opportunities for corporate route activations and volunteer roles. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
