Volkslauf um den Mittelpunkt Deutschlands
The Volkslauf um den Mittelpunkt Deutschlands running event will take place in Krebeck on Saturday, August 8, 2026. This event is suitable for all ages and fitness levels, from ambitious athletes to recreational runners.

Date: August 8, 2026
- Walking / Nordic Walking: 5.7 km (All ages) - Starts at 14:00
- Children's Run: 0.4 km (Born 2020 and younger) - Starts at 14:05
- Schoolchildren's Run: 1.2 km (Born 2017-2019) - Starts at 14:15
- Schoolchildren's Run: 2.8 km (Born 2013-2016) - Starts at 14:30
- HarzEnergie – Run: 5.7 km (Born 2012 and older) - Starts at 15:00
- VR-Bank Mitte – Run: 10.4 km (Born 2008 and older) - Starts at 16:00
Course Information
The courses, with varying elevations, are partly challenging and are on paved or asphalted surfaces. Refreshment stations are available on the 5.7 km and 10.4 km routes.
Registration and Fees
Registration is open from June 1 to August 6, 2026, until 9 PM. Late registrations are possible up to 30 minutes before the start with an additional fee of €2.00.

- Schoolchildren up to 16 years: €3.00
- Children up to 6 years: Free participation
The start fee is payable via SEPA direct debit.
Start and Finish Area
The runs start and finish at the Krebeck sports field near the community center (Bürgerhaus).
Awards
The top finishers will receive medals and prizes. Results and certificates will be published online. Age group rankings will be shown.
