Virginia 100 and 50 mile
The Virginia 100 and 50 mile, formerly the Virginia Trail Running Festival, is a weekend of running, camping, local food/drinks, and friendships set against the backdrop of peak fall colors along the New River. The race takes place on the New River Trail, a 57-mile rails-to-trails path that runs alongside the MASSIVE New River. Runners will experience beautiful orange and yellow leaves, cross old train trestles, and pass Foster Falls. The trail is dirt/crushed gravel with minimal elevation change (1% grade), making it an extremely runnable course ideal for achieving personal bests or completing a first 100 or 50-miler.
Aid stations are located approximately every 5-8 miles, with ample crew access. All race details, including FAQs for refunds, transfers, and deferments, can be found on RunBumTours.com.
