Vinnhorster Volkslauf
The Vinnhorster Volkslauf is scheduled for Sunday, September 27, 2026, in Hannover. This event offers a variety of running and walking options for all ages and abilities. Participants can choose from distances including a 10 km race, a 5 km run or walk, a 5 km run with a baby jogger, a 2.5 km "Schnupperlauf" (taster run), a 1.2 km children's run, and a Bambini run for the youngest participants.
The course is described as flat, allowing for fast times. The event is family-friendly, with specific provisions for children and a dedicated baby jogger run. Walking with or without Nordic poles is also permitted, and the course is accessible for participants with mobility impairments.
In addition to the races, there will be a supporting program including a bouncy castle, face painting, a photo booth, and food and drinks available.

- 12:00 PM: 1.2 km Boys - €5.00
- 12:40 PM: 5 km - €9.00
- 12:45 PM: 5 km with Babyjogger - €9.00
Late entries are possible up to 30 minutes before each race on the event day with an additional fee of €2.
Location:
Sportgelände TuS Vinnhorst, Grashöfe 25-27. Changing rooms, toilets, and showers will be available from 9 AM at the '56 sports hall (Grashöfe 25). Parking is available, and the venue is easily accessible by bicycle.
