Truro Half Marathon 2026
The event is a half marathon held around Truro. The course is almost entirely on road with occasional off road sections. It begins with a loop of central Truro and then runs out to Porth Kea, Playing Place and Cowlands. The route includes a few hills and is likely not suited to setting a personal best time.
The first loop around the city centre and the finish are on closed roads; most of the remainder runs on open but quiet rural roads. The course is fully signposted and supported by about 50 marshals. There are several water stations and a bag drop at the entrance to the Pannier Market on Lemon Quay, used at participants own risk. Race headquarters is listed as Hall for Cornwall on Lemon Quay and is to be confirmed.
The race is chip timed, with official results based on gun time. Team prizes are awarded based on the first six runners home from each affiliated club. The event is run under an ARC permit and is covered by ARC and UKA insurance. Entries open 18 May 2026 and close 12 September 2026. Minimum age is 17. No on the day entries are permitted. No refunds are offered; places may be transferred without charge via the entry system up to 11 September 2026, after which transfers or deferrals are not available.
