Trax4Max Turkey Trot
Join us for the 6th annual Trax4Max Turkey Trot, a beloved Thanksgiving tradition benefiting the YMCA of the Shoals. This event honors Max Barnett, a dedicated friend and supporter of the YMCA who was also an avid runner.

Courses
- 5K Turkey Trot: A USATF-certified course with some hills. Awards for top finishers and age groups.
- 1 Mile Family Fun Run: A great option for walkers, families, and strollers. Dogs on leashes are also welcome at the back of the pack.
Race Information
- Start Time: 5K starts at 8:00 AM, 1 Mile Family Fun Run starts at 8:10 AM.
- Packet Pickup: Early pickup available on Wednesday, November 25th, at Solid Rock Running Company (10 AM - 6 PM), or on race morning starting at 7:00 AM.
- Swag: Guaranteed race t-shirt for all registrations before November 5th. Limited quantities available after the deadline.
- Awards: Trophies for overall and masters winners in the 5K. Medals for top finishers in age groups.
- Aid Stations: Two aid stations on the 5K course, providing hydration and first aid.
- Parking: Ample street and business parking available in downtown Florence.
- Charity: Proceeds benefit the YMCA of the Shoals.
