Tranquility Trail Run - March 7, 2026
Join the Tranquility Trail Run, the first race of the Southeastern Trail Series, on Saturday, March 7, 2026. The event features a 3-mile loop around Tranquility Lake and a 6-mile option (two laps of the 3-mile course). The race starts at 8:00 AM at the Redbud Pavilion in Oak Mountain State Park, Pelham, AL.
Course Details:
- The 3-mile course has approximately 450 feet of elevation gain per lap.
- The course starts with a short loop around Tranquility Rd before entering single-track trails.
- Runners will cross "Cabin Rd." and climb a hill before returning to the Redbud Pavilion (finish for 3-milers).
- 6-mile runners will complete a second lap after an aid station.
Park Entry Fee: A $5 per person fee is required to enter Oak Mountain State Park. They do not accept credit cards.
Race Shirts: Registrations through April 1st are guaranteed a race shirt.
Southeastern Trail Series Discount: Save 20% by registering for all races in the "SHORT SERIES" or "LONG SERIES" on Ultrasignup.
Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall awards for both the 3-mile and 6-mile races.
Weather Policy: Races take place regardless of weather, but severe conditions may cause delays, postponements, or cancellations. In case of postponement, runners can be moved to a new date or roll over their entry to the following year.
Race Weekend Schedule:
- Friday, April 18th: Packet pickup and late registration at Mountain High Outfitters Oak Mountain Store (2000 Oak Mountain Park Rd, Pelham, AL 35124) from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
- Saturday, April 19th: Race Packet Pickup at Redbud Pavilion, Oak Mountain State Park from 6:45 AM to 7:50 AM.
- Saturday, April 19th: Start of the 3 and 6 Mile Races at 8:00 AM.
Registration Closes: Wednesday, March 4th @ 11:59 PM CT.
