About the race
The Trail des Hautes-Fagnes (THF) is a nature race organized by the friendly runners of Team Nelles. This highly anticipated event, considered by many as one of Belgium's most beautiful trail runs, takes place every year on the last Saturday of September in Xhoffraix.
Participants can choose from 3 distances (mini, middle, trail) allowing them to traverse wooded valleys, bucolic rivers, and the high plateaus of the superb Hautes Fagnes region. The trail is characterized by its diverse landscapes and exceptional natural setting, as well as the friendly and inclusive nature of its organization. Courses
- Mini: 14km with 400m elevation gain.
- Middle: 24km with 900m elevation gain.
- Trail: 46km with 1450m elevation gain.
Practical Information
- Race Day Location: Buvette du foot à Xhoffraix, Rue de la Tournerie 7, B-4960 Malmedy.
- Refreshments: Available at km 7 and finish for Mini; km 11 and finish for Middle; km 7, 14, 22, 33 and finish for Trail.
- Post-Race: Drinks, food, and award ceremony at 15:00 at the Buvette du foot in Xhoffraix.
Registration
Online registration from June 1st to September 21st. On-site registration is possible from 8:00 AM with prices of €8-10-15.
