Join us live or participate in the virtual event for the 7th Anniversary of the Trail & Ale 2026 event.
Live Event Details:
- Date: Saturday, September 19th, 2026
- Walkers Start Time: 9:00 AM
- Runners Start Times: 15 km - 8:30 AM, 10 km - 9:00 AM, 5 km - 9:30 AM
- Route: North on the Howard Watson Trail from Michigan Ave., dipping into Blackwell Trails.
- Timing: Chip timing ankle strap and bib provided for LIVE event.
- Swag: 1 can of local craft beer/mug with each 19+ registration. First 200 registered participants (19+) receive a custom BEER MUG.
- Kids: 14 and under can do the 5K Walk or 5K Run for FREE with a registered adult.
Virtual Event Details:
- Completion Window: September 1st - September 18th, 2026.
- Route: Official route is on the Howard Watson Trail, but participants can find or create their own route.
- Timing: Chip timing bibs provided for live event only. Virtual timed results must be submitted by 8:00 AM EST on Sept 19, 2026.
- Swag: Virtual out-of-towners cannot have beer/kit shipped.
Prizes: Most amount fund-raised, Best finish times (Men, Women, Kids - Runners/Walkers).
Fundraising: Funds raised help communities in Haiti and the Dominican Republic in Education, Health Care & Empowerment of Women.
Post-Event Celebration: After-party at SPORTS, behind the Refined Fool, starting at 11:30 AM.
Race Kit & Beer Pickup: Friday, September 18th from 3-7 PM at Refined Fool, 1326 London Rd., Sarnia. Pickup also available on race morning (arrive 30 mins early).
Location: Blackwell Trails/Howard Watson Trail, Trail Entrance, 1285 Michigan Ave, Sarnia, ON, Canada. Parking available at Huron Baptist Church (1285 Michigan Ave) and Goodwill parking lot.
