The Richmond Summer Riverside 10k and Half Marathon Run
This event takes place at Richmond Riverside, Ham Street (TW10 7RS). It offers two distances over an out-and-back riverside route that is mainly flat and gives long views of the river for much of the course.
The course surface is a mix of trail and paved paths and runners are advised to consider trail shoes. The layout is out-and-back once for the 10k and twice for the half marathon. Off-road buggies are permitted; the course is not wheelchair friendly. The route may be altered up to event day. Water stations are located at about 7 km and at 10 km, with an additional station at 17 km for half marathon runners.
Race timing uses chip-on-bib technology and a staggered start is used to reduce congestion on towpaths; times are recorded from the start mat. Marshals are positioned around the course and participants should keep to the left unless directed otherwise. If headphones are worn, runners should maintain awareness of others and marshal instructions.
Practical details include limited parking at the Ham Street carpark, no parking at Ham House, and a 20 to 30 minute riverside walk from Richmond station. Race packs are collected at on-site registration on the day. Results are posted via the event timing system and finishers receive a medal; a small number of trophies are awarded. ARRIVAL AND REGISTRATION
Our Richmond Summer Riverside Half Marathon will start at 9am and the 10k run will start at 9.30am.
Registration will be open from 8.00am and will close at 9.20am so please arrive nice and early.
PLEASE NOTE you will collect your race pack at registration on the day of the event.

Bag storage is available but please note space is limited so travel as lightly as possible.
