The inaugural memorial 1 Mile Walk/Run Fundraiser was established in honor of Kamal Asante' Green, whose generous heart and inspiring presence left a profound impact on everyone he encountered. Kamal passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer.
About Kamal Green
Kamal served in the United States Navy for 9 years as a medical technician and physical therapy technician with assignments at various U.S. duty stations and deployment to Djibouti, Africa. He received numerous recognitions, awards, and earned several professional certifications, including personal trainer. Kamal was actively pursuing a degree in Kinesiology to fulfill his dream of being a Physical Therapist.
The Kamal Green Foundation
To honor Kamal's memory, his family established "The Kamal Green Foundation - Kindness in Action" to provide physical therapy/healthcare scholarships and financial assistance for health and wellness activities. Join us for the 1st Annual Memorial 1 Mile Walk/Run Fundraiser to support this cause.
