The Dundonald 10K Road Race
The Dundonald 10k Road Race is back for 2026. This event is organised by THE DUNDONALD GAMES SOCIETY and kindly sponsored by Scott Brown Fitness as part of Games Week.

Date: Wednesday 29th July 2026
Start Time: 7:30 PM
Registration Time: Wednesday 29th July 2026 between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM at Dundonald Activity Centre, Castle Drive, Dundonald, KA2 9EP.
Race Details
- Distance: 10 km
- Course: Undulating, out-and-back route to Symington, starting on Drybridge Road and finishing at Dundonald Castle. Clearly marked with marshals in attendance.
- Timing: Electronic timing provided by Perfect Timing.
- Licensing: Scottish Athletics Licensed event conducted under UK Athletics Rules.
- Entry Limit: 300 runners. Pre-entry only.
- Minimum Age: 15 years on race day.
- Headphones: Not permitted during the race due to UK Athletics health and safety rules.
Facilities and Amenities
- Water stations available mid-race and at the finish.
- Medals for all finishers.
- Prizes for first male, first female, first Dundonald male, and first Dundonald female.
- Parking, changing, and toilet facilities available at the registration venue.
Entry Information
- Entry Fee: £16.00 for members of Scottish Athletics, £18.00 for non-members.
- Entries are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
- A service fee of 4% (min 50p) applies to each sign-up.
