The Crawford's Group Mid Argyll Sprint Triathlon and Aquathlon 2026
The Crawford's Group Mid Argyll Triathlon is back for 2026! Join us in the heart of scenic Argyll, swimming in the refurbished 20m MAC pool, cycling by the Mhoine Mhor national nature reserve and past Dunadd hill fort, the site of the crowning of the kings of Dalriada, and running along the famous Crinan canal.
It's an accessible, flat course with a pool swim. We aim to welcome everyone whether it’s your first triathlon or you are a familiar face at our event. Our event is supported by the local community and well marshalled, offering friendly support along your way.
Sprint Triathlon
- 500 Metre Swim
- 19 Km cycle
- 6.5 Km Run
Aquathlon
Returning in 2026 is our aquathlon event, alongside our popular annual sprint triathlon.
- 500 m swim
- 2.5 km run
Competitors will undertake a 500m pool swim, followed by a 2.5km run on the flat Crinan Canal. You don’t need to worry about remembering what to do in transition, dealing with road traffic or bike mechanical issues. Instead, all you need to compete is a pair of goggles and some running shoes.
We are affiliated to Triathlon Scotland, the national body for triathlon in Scotland. Every competitor will receive a race memento. Mid Argyll Community pool café offer a range of food and refreshments and will be open before, during and after the event.
