The "Clemson 8" Challenge

<p>The "Clemson 8" Challenge is an event that offers various courses and distances for participants to choose from. Whether you prefer a kids run/walk/stroll, an 8K or 8-mile race, or a virtual challenge, there is something for everyone. The event can be completed in-person in Clemson, SC, or virtually in your own location. Participants will receive a participant packet that includes a 100% cotton t-shirt or tank top, bib number, wooden nickel, and window decal. The proceeds from the event will benefit Clemson University Military Affiliated students, with the goal of raising $100,000 for an endowment to send these students to compete in the annual Bataan Memorial Death March Race. Donations can be made online or by mail. The event honors the Clemson alumni who were prisoners of war during World War II and other conflicts.
