The Beaver Run
The Beaver Run is a high-altitude mountain running event held Labor Day Weekend in beautiful Breckenridge, Colorado. Participants can choose from 5K, 10K, and 15K distances along Breckenridge's scenic paved recreation path system while enjoying mountain views, fresh alpine air, and a festive holiday weekend atmosphere at approximately 9,600 feet above sea level. Hosted by BA Endurance and Beaver Run Resort & Conference Center.

Held during Colorado's 150th anniversary year, The Beaver Run combines mountain running, local history, and the spirit of Breckenridge into a memorable Labor Day Weekend experience.

- 15K — 8:00 AM (halfway cutoff time of 9:30 AM based on approximately a 15:00/mile pace to ensure volunteer and course support availability)
- 10K — 8:04 AM
- 5K — 8:08 AM

Please Note: The Beaver Run is designed as a mountain running experience, not a personal-record course. Participants should be prepared for altitude and a gradual uphill return to the finish.
Post-Race Celebration
Participants are invited to gather at Beaver Run Resort's popular BBQ at the Base following the race. Awards Ceremony: Approximately 11:00–11:30 AM. Participants are encouraged to stay for awards, sponsor giveaways, drawings, and post-race festivities.
Kid's Fun Run
Following the start of the main events, children will have the opportunity to participate in a fun run on the Riverwalk Center lawn. Participants will receive finisher recognition and additional goodies following the event. Additional details coming soon.
Supporting Building Hope Summit County
A portion of event proceeds and fundraising efforts will support Building Hope Summit County, an organization dedicated to expanding access to emotional and mental health resources throughout Summit County. Through participation, fundraising efforts, and community partnerships, The Beaver Run aims to support both physical and mental wellness throughout the community.
About the Event
The Beaver Run is produced by BA Endurance in partnership with Beaver Run Resort & Conference Center. Race Director Bryce Fluker is a USA Triathlon Certified Coach, 2026 USA Triathlon Cross Duathlon National Champion, and USA Triathlon All-American with more than 17 years of endurance racing and coaching experience. Through BA Endurance, Bryce has coached athletes ranging from first-time racers to Ironman finishers, Boston Marathon qualifiers, and tactical professionals while helping build endurance sport opportunities throughout Colorado.
