The Aston 5
The Aston 5 is a road race scheduled for 12 July 2026 in Aston, Hertfordshire. Race headquarters are at Aston Village Hall, New Park Lane, Aston SG2 7DY. The event distance is 5 miles. Included for participants are a race bib with an integrated timing chip issued at the registration desk, electronic timing with online live results, a race medal, an awards ceremony and a downloadable finisher certificate. Event T-shirts will be available to purchase while stocks last. The race holds a UKA Sport:80 licence and is listed on The Power of 10 website.Course services and safety measures include drink stations on course and at the finish, medical provision at the start, on course and at the finish, signposted mile markers and course marshals. Toilets are available at Race HQ.
Registration is online only and can be completed via web browser or mobile device up to the morning of the event. The organiser does not offer refunds or automatic deferrals, but allows transfers of entries to another runner prior to the race and provides deferral or refund options for pregnancy or postpartum circumstances for up to three years. Registration is ONLINE ONLY. This registration platform is available via web browser or mobile device until 8:50 AM on the morning of the event.
Transfers, Deferrals and Refunds Policy
Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or deferrals. We do however have a very generous transfer policy.
If you wish you may transfer your place to another runner at any time prior to the race - however you must let us know. The easiest way to do this is by using your "self-service" link in your confirmation email - if you can’t find your confirmation email, send us an email at [email protected] and we will resend it to you.
If you are unable to run because you are pregnant or postpartum, you can defer your place to one of the following three years or offer you a full refund.
